This year, the students will have a math binder for class. This binder will be a place for the students to keep up with their notes, homework, reviews/tests, and reference materials. We will be completing the binder together during class and they will have the option to keep their binders inside the classroom. They will be required to take them home the day before a test to promote studying for the exam. We will be cleaning out our binders together the day before or the day after each test. This will help the students keep notes and information that they will need throughout the school and recycle materials that are no longer needed. My hope and plan for these binders is to help the students be accountable for their own grades and learn how organization is a key ingredient to being successful.
So, what do we need?
Each student will need the following items: (required)
1 1/2 - 2 inch binder (please no velcro or zippers)
5 tabs/dividers
Pencil pouch

Notebook Paper (2 packages)
Suggested Items:
Glue Stick

Colored Pencils
Ear Buds (used for computer lab days)
Donations
If you would like to donate any of these items, please feel free to do so. I know notebook paper, pencils, and red pens run out fast as the year continues. All donations are GREATLY APPRECIATED!
